40 Years of Love That Transforms Lives!
This past June we joyfully celebrated the 40th anniversary of our beloved sister organization, AEA Lima. It was a beautiful celebration in Lima, a fun night filled with memories, hugs, and deep gratitude for all we’ve lived and accomplished together.
Many of you know the story: AEA was born from the inspiring initiative of our beloved Pope John Paul II, with the mission of bringing care, love, and hope to orphaned and abandoned children in Ayacucho.
Since then, it’s been four decades of unwavering dedication, first by supporting the youngest in vulnerable situations, and later by expanding the mission to include the youth who grew up in our homes. This journey gave rise to the youth residences Villa Paloma and Villa Haydee, created so those children, now teenagers, could continue a higher education and build a future as fulfilled, independent, and empowered adults.
As part of this growth, AEA Miami was also born; established in 1987 as an extension of the original program. Later, in April 1999, it was formally recognized as a nonprofit organization under the name “Asociación Emergencia Ayacucho Inc.” in the state of Florida.
Today, more than just a celebration, this anniversary is a powerful reminder of what love, faith, and shared commitment can achieve.
Thank you for being part of this story. Let’s keep walking together, with our hearts in Ayacucho and our hope burning bright.
