For more than 30 years, we have cared for, provided education for, and inspired hundreds of children in Ayacucho, Peru. We ensure the financial means to enable the “Juan Pablo II” orphanage homes to provide first-class care to children.

History
“Our history dates back to 1985 when Pope Saint John Paul II visited Ayacucho, located in the central-southern region of Peru. During his visit, the Pope donated $50,000 to support the war orphans. With these funds, the ‘Juan Pablo II’ Orphanage Homes were established under the supervision of the Archbishop of Ayacucho, Monsignor Richter Pranda, and Mrs. Anabela Jordán, the wife of the United States Ambassador to Peru. Mrs. Jordán also served as the first President of AEA Lima.
